Wine and Cheese tasting evening at Exchange Tower

On Thursday 25th April Privée by Office Concierge organised a Cheese and Wine tasting event at Exchange Tower in Canary Wharf. The complimentary event was held in the buildings vast atrium on behalf of Privée member, Exchange Tower Building Management.  The event acted as a valuable networking opportunity for the tenants in the building as well as a very pleasant way to end the working day.

This bespoke event featured suppliers The Cheeseboard, a boutique cheese shop in Greenwich and entertainment from The London City Jazz Trio.

The event was attended by over 250 tenants, each receiving a distinctive tasting experience from Europe’s finest cheeses and carefully paired wines, with expert advice on hand from Lucy Gregory, Editor of the 2013 London Cheese and Wine Guide. The Cheeses tasted were:

–       Mothais sur Feuille – a beautiful French goat’s cheese from Poitou-Charentes, presented on a dried chestnut leaf.

–       Fougerus – a Brie-like cheese with a rich, earthy flavour and gooey texture.

–       Old Winchester – a hard British cheese, matured for 18 months with flavours of Cheddar and Parmesan.

–       Quartirolo Lombardo – a rare, washed-rind Italian cheese with fruity flavour and silky texture.

–       Fourme d’Ambert – a French blue cheese with depth of flavour but not too tangy.
